National Gallery Persimmon Restaurant
National Galley of Victoria has employed the services of Concrete Techniques on several separate occasions to fulfil their flooring requirements.
On this occasion they needed a floor to add to the atmosphere of the Persimmon Restaurant.
This is how the concept of the “Contech Terrazzo” floor was born, and went from strength to strength, now in many apartments throughout the Melbourne CBD.
Through the efforts of the designer team within the NGV & Concrete Techniques, together we invented this floor to compliment the surrounding structures, I.e. the water etc.
The floor still looks great despite several functions and a few years of wear & tear & is a low maintenance floor.
